So, Who Am I?
“I am a writer because I scribble words on paper, a mother that needs more time in the day and a doer because I chase my dreams.”
I am ShaVontay Lynn. Also known as Vontay, Tayy, most known as The Soccer Mom, I am the author of Deadly Encounters and Ratchiva’Z. I Graduated Rio Salado College (Tempe, AZ in 2012 and I am currently continuing my education at Southern New Hampshire University for my Communication degree. I was born and raised in Compton, Ca and understand the struggles one faces in life to be successful. I only wish to tell my stories and have the world love them. I am currently working on two upcoming projects, Deadly Encounters 2 and Infatuation scheduled for release in 2023 and 2024. Aside from being a writer, I am a mother of 7, including two sets of twins, and an entrepreneur. I am always looking for a new business to cook up. I started Embrace the Lip Bar, LLC & Sevyn Kreations, LLC in 2019 and I have always loved crafting and creativity. Family is everything to me. I enjoy spending lots of time with my kids and my cousins. I approach both life and work with sincerity, honesty, and compassion. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a reader fall in love with my writing. I have always loved writing a great story. Being a mother and a writer is a beautiful and chaotic collision of two worlds. As a mother, I am tasked with nurturing and guiding my children, ensuring their well-being and happiness. Their needs often take precedence over my own creative pursuits, and yet, being a writer is an essential part of who I am. It allows me to express myself, explore new worlds, and capture the intricacies of life. Balancing both roles requires discipline, flexibility, and a whole lot of juggling. But amidst the endless demands, there is a profound sense of fulfillment in witnessing my children grow alongside my words, knowing that I am setting an example of pursuing one's passions and embracing a multifaceted identity. Motherhood fuels my writing, and writing enriches my motherhood—it is a delicate dance of love, inspiration, and resilience.
For Them I Will…
“For a mother is the only person on earth who can divide her love among 10 children and each child still have all her love.” – Unknown
